Zonal Institute of Education & Training

Our Campus

The ZIET, Gwalior is situated on the Gwalior-Jhansi Road in a picturesque campus covering an area of 15 acre of land provided by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh state. The Institute is about 5 km away from Railway Station and Bus Stand. Late Sh. Madhav Rao Scindia, then Hon'ble Minister for Human Resource Development, Govt. of India laid the foundation stone of the main building of the Institute on 30th Sept. 1995. The main building of the Institute was inaugurated by Sh. H.M. Caire, IAS (then,Commissioner, KVS) on 20th Nov. 2002.

There are 56 rooms and about 100 trainees can be accommodated at one time. Only vegetarian meals are served to trainees on payment basis.
